Job Title : Seven (7) Villa Cooks
Department : Kitchen
Reporting to : Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Salary : US$5.00 per hour + US$500/mo. Housing allowance
Position Summary: Carry out instructions of his Immediate Head in all aspects of catering duties
Main Duties:
· Attend departmental meetings
· Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene
· Assist the Executive Chef/Sous Chef in menu planning
· Request materials and check all goods in terms of quality and quantity
· Supervise the correct portion of food distributed by Stewards or Attendants
· Control the preparation and cooking of all food for quality and nutritional values
· Maintain a flair for attractive presentation of food, garnishing and decoration of food
· Control and minimize waste, maintain cleanliness of kitchen and ensure that kitchen equipments are properly used
· Able to formulate production schedules, raw materials consumption and knowledge of different recipes to avoid waste
· Be a willing team worker at all times. Accept and perform special assignments within or outside his Department as requested by his/her Immediate Head
· Keep abreast of all company policies and code of conduct by reading and understanding all guidelines issued pertaining to such matters; and performing such duties and functions as specified in the guidelines
Characteristics/Qualifications Required:
· Fluent in English
· Male/Female age 28 ~ 45
· Neat appearance, good grooming, professional yet friendly manner
· Three (3) years previous experience as a Cook in a 5 star luxury hotel or resort or private home
