POEA Accredited Agencies

If you have tried searching for jobs in the country of your choice at the POEA’s website, you would probably found a a desirable position and the recruitment agency that will process your application. The next important thing to do is to verify if the recruitment agency belong to the POEA accredited agencies.

Remember that 2009 basically started and some of these agencies are in the process of renewing their accreditation. It is wise therefore to verify their accreditation first, before applying.

The POEA website fortunately provides a way for you to find out all the accredited agencies online. Type this link to your browser’s address bar.

http://www.poea.gov.ph/cgi-bin/agList.asp?mode=all

It will show a list of recruitment agencies and their current status. If you don’t want to scroll down and look for the name of recruitment agency you are verifying one by one, you can search for it by typing in the start or any part of the name. Or you can search  All Landbased Recruitment Agencies or All Manning Agencies.

The recruitment agency is accredited by the POEA if it has a good standing status. If you see other than that like cancelled, delisted or etcetera, then do not proceed with the application.

If you have verified that the agency is POEA accredited then it is means the agency is legally authorized to conduct business under the law and follow the POEA standards. You may now contact the agency and ask for the requirements of the approved job order.
