I really am a satisfied user of Philippines credit card. as my first credit card in the Philippines i was pleasantly surprised by the services the credit card companies here in Manila .
It was a breeze applying at The Bank of the Philippine Islands ,Banco de Oro, Metrobank, Standard Chartered, HSBC, Citibank and Landbank., However I found that BPI bank was the best of the lot.
BPI credit card holders have a number of perks and benfits available to them. Several strategic partnerships with retail outfits have spurred some interesting rewards, Such as a dessert every time you spend more than 500 pesos on your card . The telco’s in the Philippines have also been keen to partner up with the credit cards , you get free load, free sim cards from smart and globe ( telecom companies in the Philippines)
Another popular tie-up is with a local Chinese fast-food outlet and theyr’e deal is for every 1000 pesos you can get three deserts of your choice and some Dim sum!
These promotions of course are seasonal and are sustained during the rainy season and the beginning of the school year -
As BPI is owned by the Ayala family you can expect a bevy of promo’s at all ayala malls and outlets.
With all these BPI card rewards and benefits, who wouldn’t love the Bank of the Philippine Islands and Philippine c cards in general! So when you find yourself in the PI for more than a month, why not apply for credit and enjoy all these wonderful perks!
